Who am I? Well....

Ok, so in order for you to know what I am talking about sometimes, I probably should tell you a little about me.  Would help, right?

So, this is me

I have the best little family I could ask for....  Although we are a little weird....

I met my husband in 2008 while he was in the USMC.  He was short, had hair, and had a wicked good sense of humor.  I chased him down in the parking lot the first night we met and I made sure he had my number.  He called a few days later, and as you can see, it all worked out.  Married my best friend, twice (will explain that on our nearest anniversary date in September)!  Now he is a Marine Electrician in the civilian world, still short and funny, but as you can see, no hair....  but I still love him.

We were blessed with our first baby in November 2011.  Eleanor is my wild child, but she is as smart as a whip, which causes me much heartache.  Means she is growing up faster that I would like.  She is so sweet, though, friendly and creative.  Oh, and we call her Nono (because my baby sister couldn't say Eleanor, but rather it came out "El-ah-no-no" and Nono stuck.)

In January of this year I had another baby, our surprise boy!  Damion is new, so all I can say is he is cute, sweet, and always seems to be hungry....   but he is well loved!!!

We currently live on Houma, Louisiana.  Ever watch "Swamp People"?  Ya, there.  We live there.  Ugh.  I have lived in Virginia since I was 16.  Louisiana is hot, sticky, humid, hot, and, oh ya, hot.  *shudder*  Hence the reason I don' like exercising outside.  I melt.  None of that "glisten" or "sparkle" nonsense.  No, I sweat and I smell like swamp after (told you I was going to be honest!)


I am kept busy, though!  I have my kids and my home to take care of.  I am a babywearer, so I am always promoting it and helping other moms get started.  What is babywearing?  Well, here is me wearing my son!

How I lived without doing this with Nono is beyond me!  This is the best way to get anything done with kids!
